Artist's Statement There are so many aspect to photography. For me, a good photograph is simply one that shows the viewer something they have never seen before, or takes them to a place they may never be able to visit. Previously living on Puget Sound, I've been fortunate enough to drop anchor in what I believe is one of the world's most beautiful areas. And now, living in Hawaii where the light is so wonderful, I'm looking forward to capturing the island's beauty and it's wonderful culture. After years of faithfully filing away my photos, I've decided it's time to share and going digital has allowed me to do so. I can't think of anything more rewarding than knowing that one of my images made someone stop for a moment to marvel at how beautiful the world is. |
